Kindergarten: Miss Spider’s Tea Party
Posted on 10/21/2015
Kindergarten had an exciting week doing fun activities and learning all about Miss Spider’s Tea Party. We started out the week by reading the book “Miss Spider’s Tea Party” by David Kirk. Throughout the week we did many activities to go along with the book. One of those activities was playing the computer game “Miss Spider’s Tea Party.” The students all loved getting to go to the computer lab and playing the game, many of the students even completed the game and got their very own invitation to Miss Spider’s Tea Party. We made our very own spider hats on Thursday so we could wear them for our Tea Party. On Friday morning, we had to follow a recipe and in order to make cupcakes so we could make them into spider cakes for the Tea Party. To add to our excitement Mrs. Parrack came in to be a guest reader and read us a book about Miss Spider. Finally, on Friday afternoon, we had our very own tea party!! We had it all from, spider hats to spider cakes and even apple juice!! The students all had so much fun and lots of memories were made!!
