This is the image for the news article titled Kindergarten, Virgil, and the CoconutAfter reading the story Chicka, Chicka, Boom Boom, the Kindergarten students learned about coconut trees. Their teachers brought a coconut to school but they just couldn't open it. They found Virgil Heine (our head custodian) and asked him to teach the children about his important job at Centennial. Virgil showed the kids several of the tools he uses. They decided he should use his drill and hammer to open the coconut. It worked! Virgil was a hero!
