Custodian

Centennial Public Schools is accepting applications for a full-time school custodian. The primary job of the custodian is to maintain the physical school facilities and grounds in a condition of operating excellence, cleanliness, and safety, so that full educational use of them may be made at all times.

-High school diploma or G.E.D. (desired)

-Custodial cleaning experience in public or private buildings preferred.

-Practical working knowledge of good housekeeping practices and procedures preferred.

-Candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly in any given day.

-Will be required to assist with snow removal. Ability to operate equipment such as snowblowers, skid steers, and scissor lifts preferred.

Work hours will be approximately 12:30pm-9:00pm M-F with occasional overtime and weekend duty. Starting pay is $16.00/hour and includes 100% paid family health insurance and participation in the state retirement system. Substitute Bus and Van Drivers
