Miss Hanway's 4th Grade Class and Mrs. Heine's and Mrs. Warm's Kindergarten Classes are all participating in the Discovery Dairy Adopt-A-Cow Program. Our classrooms have each adopted an actual live calf growing on a dairy farm. We were all lucky enough to get paired with the JJC Jerseys (The Cast Family) Dairy Farm in Beaver Crossing! We received pictures of our calves last week and will receive monthly updates about our calves through email including information, pictures, and videos. We are looking forward to a fun experience learning about dairy farms and hope to even get to visit the farm and possibly meet our calves! Miss Hanway's Calf's name is Pepper. Mrs. Heine's Calf's name is Queenie. And Mrs. Warm's Calf's name is Abby.
