NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Board of Education of Centennial Public School District 67-R, will be held via videoconference at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th day of March, 2020 in the Board of Education Room of the Centennial School, Utica, Nebraska, which meeting will be open to the public. The school will be open for students/parents to pick up their materials on Thurs & Fri. We will be sending out specific details tomorrow about times & the process. Thanks for your patience as we work to finalize the details so we can do this as safely & efficiently as possible.
The special board meeting scheduled for tonight has been postponed until Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. A new notice will be posted later tonight.

Centennial Student Council Blood Drive has been made a mobile drive for Thursday March 19th. The bloodmobile will be parked at the Utica Fire Department from 11-4, and all existing appointments will still be honored. Extra precautions and sanitation will be in place and our counties are still very much in need of units of blood. There will be no school 3/17-3/20 due to COVID-19. There will be no practices or activities this week, the musical is postponed. Please read the letter attached this this post.
NSAA Release - "Effective Monday, March 16 all NSAA activity practices are suspended until Monday, March 30 and all NSAA activity competitions are suspended until Thursday, April 2. These suspensions may be extended should the conditions warrant."

NSAA has suspended all district and state speech meets. The district speech meet scheduled to be at David City has been cancelled.
The elementary music contest at Malcolm on the 3/20/20 has been cancelled. It will not be rescheduled.
State Basketball Live Stream: WATCH PARTY for Centennial fans will be in the auditorium tonight! Doors will open 8:00 PM - limited concessions available - come up and have fun cheering on our broncos!

The NSAA is hoping to stream all state BB games, we will share details when we know them. 104.9 will be broadcasting the game, you can listen online to that broadcast as well. There will be a send off at 5:50 from the school for all that want to see the team off. #broncoblue
Our list of state BB attendees is limited to our 14 players' & coaches' immediate families (parents, siblings, & grandparents). Adult siblings & their families are included. Aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. are NOT included. Each of the 14 players verified their list for us at practice today. Talk to your player to verify who is on the list, we don't want anybody to drive to Lincoln & get turned away.
Here is the letter that the NSAA has shared with schools competing in the state BB tourney this weekend. We will be visiting with the coaches, players, & managers @ practice today to complete our admission list.
We do not have specific details from the NSAA relating to state basketball attendance at this time. We are hoping to be able to communicate details sometime this afternoon or evening. We want to make sure that we are sharing accurate information.
The state basketball order has been delivered. Items will be sent home with students or staff. If you don't have a student you can pick up your items @ the HS office prior to 4PM today or call & make arrangements.
