The Centennial FBLA chapter attended the State Leadership Conference in Omaha on April 4th – 6th. Our students did an excellent job of representing Centennial, and we had four students qualify to represent Nebraska at the FBLA National Leadership Conference this summer in San Antonio, TX.
National Qualifiers
· Jackson Hirschfeld placed 1st out of 624 students in Personal Finance
· Jackson Hirschfeld, Wyatt Ehlers, and Max Tomes in the Virtual Business Management National competition – they placed 2nd out of 187 teams.
· Luke Petersen in the Agribusiness competition – placed 3rd out of 180 students.
Other Placers
· Wyatt Ehlers placed 8th in Agribusiness
· Kiley Rathjen placed 8th in Intro to Parliamentary Procedure

Post Prom has been given the opportunity to run concessions for the District track meet. With so many kids attending Prom this year and the added expense of this, it is great that we have been given this opportunity! No matter the age(s) of you child/children, they will ultimately benefit from the funds raised. We have made the shifts shorter for this district track meet to make it easier to work into peoples busy schedules. Please thoughtfully consider signing up to help out. Thank you!

Soph's (and parents) all fundraiser orders will be ready for pick up on Wed, April 17. The food will be ready to go after school. You will need to make arrangements for your food to be picked up. It may NOT be left out, as it is frozen. Ms. V will NOT be storing any food for you.

Shout out to Bronco Nation - Centennial Public Schools and Community has raised $3,500 for flood victims in Nebraska. We are going to be splitting the money and send half to North Bend Schools and half to Boyd County Schools. They are beyond thankful, and we are beyond proud!

Due to impending weather, the high school golf meet at Friend tomorrow has been cancelled. As of now, this meet will not be rescheduled.

Due to the upcoming weather, the high school track meet scheduled for this Wednesday, April 3rd at Malcolm has been moved to Thursday, April 4th. The fields events will start at 12:00pm and running events will begin around 2:00pm.

Due to the number of days that we have missed this school year, the 2 Hour Late Start Inservice scheduled for Fri, 4/26, has been cancelled. April 26th will be a regular school day to help ensure that we get to our required number of instructional hours for the year.

Reminder: post prom parent meeting tonight at 5:15 in the cafeteria. Thanks to all of you that have signed up to help with concessions! The HS meet has been filled and the JH meet has 3 spots left. Please consider helping out, this is an easy fundraiser for the post prom & proceeds go to next years group!

The deadline to RSVP for prom and to order a post prom t-shirt is tomorrow, Friday, 3/29 by 3:30. Sign up & payment for the post prom shirts can be done at the HS office. Juniors and Seniors were emailed a Google form to fill out about the prom meal and favors. This needs to be done by tomorrow too and payment is due to the high school office.
