The Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) are coordinating to provide $120 in grocery purchasing cards to households of children who receive Free or Reduced-price meals at schools that participate in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs. These cards should be used during summer break when school is not in session. If your student receives Free or Reduced-price meals in SY2024-25 and eats breakfast and/or lunch at school, you do not need to take any action to receive SEBT. If your student does not currently qualify for Free or Reduced-price meals but your household situation and income changes during summer break and you believe your child becomes eligible, please complete the SEBT application available from the NDE: https://www.education.ne.gov/dhhs-superintendent-letter-project/summer-electronic-benefit-program-sebt-information/summer-ebt-application/
